Fixing the planet: Plastic-free challenge | part of Kingston Can

Kingston School of Art designers inspired and supported by Fixperts will be running a plastic-free challenge at the Bentall Centre

Across two Saturdays in October, Kingston School of Art designers inspired and supported by Fixperts will be running a plastic-free challenge at The Bentall Centre to explore how Kingston can reduce plastic use.

Applying design to this challenge, young people will come up with ideas of how Kingston can go plastic-free. Ideas will be brought to life through making and testing with a range of materials.

In each 90min session teams will tackle specific challenge areas from reusable systems to alternative materials. They will explore and prototype ideas to make Kingston plastic-free.

This activity is suitable for ages 9 – 14. Parents and guardians need to stay with their children.
