Kingston Museum’s current Artist in Residence, Loraine Monk, will lead this workshop on relief printing.

Bring a simple picture or design and Loraine will show you how to trace it onto lino, cut out the design, then print it on to cartridge or Japanese paper, cotton or silk to make a vivid contrasting image. Take inspiration from Loraine’s printed works on paper and banners displayed around the museum.

Loraine will supply all materials. Please bring pads, pencils and pens if you want to sketch your ideas first.
