Satisfied Eye International Film Festival (SEIFF) is excited to make its home in Kingston this autumn, running from 18-20 October 2019.
SEIFF is a true celebration of film and whatever your preference, whether car chases or comedy, costume drama or cartoons, we have something for everyone.
The festival runs for three movie-packed days, with premieres, Q&As, events for families and filmmakers, children and cinephiles, all culminating with a gala red carpet awards ceremony which is open to all.
What we see in cinemas is a tiny fragment of the incredible work of filmmakers. At the Satisfied Eye International Film Festival you can delight in the highest quality independent feature films, short films, animation and documentaries from across the globe. For many of these little-known gems, it’s the only opportunity you’ll ever have to see them and this is a chance to say ‘I was there’ as you watch the next Scorsese or Streep set screens alight.
Our panel of industry experts and local judges have sifted through hundreds of films from over 50 countries to bring you incredible filmmaking talent, from Oscar and BAFTA winners, darlings of Sundance and Cannes, with familiar names from Pierce Brosnan to Amanda Seyfried, Jarvis Cocker to Brian Cox.
Like Cannes, only cooler. And with fewer yachts.
