What we’re loving:

Try a zingy and healthy take on brit favourite fish and chips with CAU’s tantalizing Coal Baked Bream, just £15.95!

What’s in the dish?

Sea bream, cooked over coals served with a mango and cucumber salsa and sweet potato crisp!

Why’s it good?

Fish is full of essential fatty acids that are relatively low in calories, making this dish perfect for those looking for something tasty but not too filling. Couple this with your classic healthy alternative to chips and salsa containing two of your five a day and you’re good to go!

Côte Brasserie

What we’re loving:

Thinking healthy means thinking GREEN! Give Côte’s Risotto Vert a try so you don’t have to miss out on French cuisine this month! £10.95 off the vegetarian menu.

What’s in the dish?

This dish literally means green risotto. So as you’d expect this tasty rice plate is packed with peas, broad beans, green beans, courgette, baby spinach, pesto, mint and rocket.

Why’s it good?

We’re all frequently told that carbs are bad for us, right? But without them your body would start to shut down. The great thing about risotto dishes is they can be tailored to be as healthy as you like. As this one is packed with more than your five a day in green vegetables it’s a great choice, and the extra greens will add a much needed dose of iron and calcium to your diet, ideal for fending off any winter nasties! Well done Côte!

Busaba Eathai

What we’re loving:

Salad, no we don’t often get excited about salad but the NEW Superfood Yam Pak with Chicken available now in Kingston is certainly one we are adding to our tasting list this month!

What’s in the dish?

Poached chicken breast with sliced Thai aubergine, avocado, chicory and green mango in sesame, soy, tamarind and coconut dressing all topped with crunchy shallot! £11.95

Why’s it good?

This salad is so much more than your average, it is packed with ingredients designed to give your body some real nourishment. Avocado is trending for a reason, it is famously the fruit with the highest protein content, which makes it perfect for those burning calories in the gym! Couple that with the fresh chicken on offer and you have yourself the perfect pre-workout lunch!

Bill’s

What we’re loving:

In truth, Bills breakfast in general but this dish is arguably the best if you’re looking to kick start your day the healthy way! Forget the name, the Bill’s vegetarian breakfast is packed with protein and taste no matter your meat preference.

What’s in the dish?

Poached, free range eggs, pesto roasted plum tomatoes, mushrooms, tomato hummus, guacamole, sweet chilli sauce, basil and toast. £8.95 PLUS add an extra dose of protein on a gym day, with sliced avocado for just £1.95!

Why it’s good?

You may have heard starting your day off with just carbohydrate isn’t the wisest decision. Eggs are a great way to start they day, containing good cholesterol and usable protein we think they should be part of every breakfast! But these eggs aren’t served up with a load of greasy fry-up usuals, oh no! These eggs are served up with an array of nutritionally delicious vegetarian extras making bills our star go-to for gym-bunny breakfast this season!

Comptoir Libanias

What we’re loving:

It’s their favourite and it’s one of ours too! Sea Bass Samké Beiruti £12.95 from the mezze menu is perfect for a main meal that will leave you completely satisfied and won’t leave you feeling overly guilty! 10/10

What’s in the dish:

Roasted sea bass fillet topped with spiced coriander, tomato and tahini sauce, served with basmati rice. And if you want to be extra healthy you could skip the rice and opt for Quinoa instead.

Why it’s good?

We’ve already clarified that fish is a great alternative to red meat when you are looking to shape up! This one is served with plenty of spices so you won’t be left thinking you’ve had a bland dinner, AND it is served with a small side of rice, so you have some carbohydrate to keep you feeling satisfied! Perfect.
